Approach

The Windmills are your guide

Harbor coordinates are: 56.32.1 N / 10.42.8 E

A good landmark for approach is the seven big windmills on the piers, three on the west and four on the east. The Marina’s entrance is shared with Bønnerup Fishing Harbor.
There are sandbanks located on the east and the west side of the port entrance. From 0.7 nm into shore the depth is less than 2 m.
The Stavnshoved Reef is located approx. 2.4 nm east of the entrance. It stretches approx. 0.7 nm from the coast. The reef is marked with a north buoy.
After you have passed the sandbanks and the reef you can set your course at a point approx. 0.1 nm north of the port entrance. When reaching that point change your course to true S (180°) which will lead you directly to the port entrance.
The piers provide good protection in bad weather.

The Marina has 275 berths located in 2 basins to the west.
The greater basin has a depth of 3 m at mean sea level. There are 4 floating docks with pilings to moor at plus 3 fixed docks with mooring longitudinally.
The large fixed promenade dock (Dock E) is reserved for guest boats over 12 m in length.
The heads of the floating docks are mainly reserved for guest boats too.

The smaller basin has fixed docks with pilings to moor at and mooring options longitudinally as well.
The depth here is max. 2,5 m at mean sea level.

Berths marked with green signs are available for guest boats.

Mooring in the commercial fishing port is not allowed without permission from the Harbor Master.

People with limited mobility or wheelchair users can go directly from dock E or W in the large basin to the Marina surroundings, including the piers  and the village without having to climb ramps or stairs.
